Taking care of youself and your skin is very important; every day our skin face atmospheric conditions such as sunny and rainy days as well as smog and stress.
The skin needs to be nourished and hydrated so here we will talk about the different steps of our skincare routine.

First step: make-up removal
The most important step is to remove your make-up before go to bed; it is essential to take it off in order to clean your skin from the impurities. To remove your make-up you should not use wipes because they could irritate the skin; we suggest to use cleaning pads that are a good environment-friendly option.

Second step: cleansing
After removing your make-up, you need to wash your face with a delicate cleanser; in this way you’ll eliminate the excess sebum, the polluting particles accumulated during the day, the cosmetic residues and the dead cells and your skin will feel a sense of relief.

Third step: toner
This step is critical to restore the pH of your skin. The skin absorb the product and this will give you a sense of freshness; with this step your dermis will be purified and the enlarged pores will be reduced. Its refreshing, softening and decongestant action is also useful in the treatment of reddened and sensitive skin.

Fourth step: hydration
This is the last of the fundamental steps for a minimal skincare routine. So, when you’re done with the toner, you should put a face cream on your skin in order to nourish and hydrate the dermis. It helps you to improve your skin’s health thanks to its moisturizing and soothing effects.

There are also other steps you could add to you skincare routine, but they are optionals.
For example, you could use a product for the eye contour; in these areas the skin is particularly thin and more delicate than the rest of the face. This subtlety makes it easily attacked by environmental agents: pollution, temperature changes, weather conditions. It is an area with a tendency to dehydrate with ease so we need to chose a product that helps to nourish this area.
Another step you could follow is the exfoliation; perhaps the most important step after cleansing, the exfoliation of the skin allows you to free it from that layer of dead cells and impurities, helping it to welcome and absorb the nutrients and active ingredients in serums, creams and masks to apply after.
Lastly, is noteworthy to talk about the face masks; the face masks are specially designed to restore an altered hydrolipidic balance and restore the physiological pH, protecting sensitive skin from atmospheric insults. They can help you purifying and detoxifying action to combat acne, blackheads and pimples; we advice you to use face masks once a week.
And, of course, don’t forget to wear SPF daily, even in winter days!
